About Us
Naukeli is a Danish brand founded by Kasper and Julie, a husband-and-wife team united by their passion for fly fishing and love of nature.
With roots in fly fishing, hunting, and outdoor life, they have built a business grounded in uncompromising quality and a desire to do things a little differently.
At Naukeli, we never cut corners. Every skin is hand-cut, and every feather and hide is meticulously hand-sorted. We work with carefully selected Danish game birds, which we source and select ourselves – always with deep respect for the animals and the natural environment. Selected products are dyed in-house, in small batches, allowing us to create truly one-of-a-kind materials.
Looking ahead, our ambition is to expand our range and establish Naukeli as a distinctive name in the fly fishing and fly tying world.
Kasper
From an early age, Kasper could be found by the rivers of Denmark, fishing alongside his dad.
Back then, it was mostly bobbers and spinning rods on small streams close to home.
As a teenager, fishing took a back seat, but in his early twenties the passion returned—this time with a twist.
fly fishing quickly captured his imagination and has since become his main pursuit. Today, Kasper almost exclusively fly fish, with a long and ever-growing bucket list of waters to explore.
Julie
For Julie, fly fishing is a relatively new adventure, but one that has quickly captured her imagination. She has developed a special love for the calm rhythm of the two-handed rod, especially when pursuing Atlantic salmon.
When she’s not on the river, Julie finds balance through yoga and cycling—two passions that, much like fly fishing, connect movement with mindfulness.
