Description

The history of the Naukeli Fly Tying Carousel dates back to 2017, when the first concept drawings and prototypes were created. The original idea was to develop a high-quality, yet simple, fly tying organizing system that was modularly built to be easily extended to accommodate more tools and materials. An important design parameter was that all tools and materials should be easy to reach, which led to the inclusion of 360-degree rotation in the design. As with many things in life, the timing was not right for pursuing commercial sales, so the project more or less went into hibernation for years. However, a select few got their hands on some of the early models, allowing the Carousel to be used and tested for many years with great success. In 2023, the project was revived, leading to the founding of Naukeli. The Carousel received a new name and some design adjustments based on feedback from those early models.
