Our Premium Goat Hair is not your average goat hair—it features a very fine texture, exceptional softness, and longer fibers than most other goat hair on the market. This makes it ideal as wing material for larger tube flies for salmon, sea trout, and steelhead.
It is also well suited for larger streamers and pike flies. Due to its softness, it performs best when combined with bucktail or other stiffer materials to add structure and durability.
A popular use of our Premium Goat Hair is for Samurai salmon flies, where many other materials are simply too short.
